George Chigova passes on

The former Dynamos goalkeeper popularly known as Zikeeper for his presence George Chigova has passed away. This has been confirmed by a sportscaster Andile Ncube who works for SABC. Chigova was now based in South Africa and played for Polokwane City and now was with Supersport at the time of his death. Chigova suffered a heart attack in July and has not yet recovered since.

He was 32. He also shone into stardom and attracted interest in South during the CHAN tournament in 2014 which was held there that saw Zimbabwe finish 4th at the hands of Super Eagles.

This comes just less than a week after the former Warriors player and coach Rahman Gumbo passed on in Botswana.
