A 14 year old Zimbabwean girl suffered over 5 years of being raped by his uncle since she was five.
A 55-year old man appeared before the courts charged with raping his niece allegedly with the knowledge of her aunt, who is the sister to the mother.

The girl is in high school now and during the time of the abuse she was staying with the couple. It’s allegeded the sexual abuse accurred twice a week over the five years.

The girl’s ordeal came to light when she went to live with other relatives in the Harare after the death of uncle’s wife.
The uncle is denying all allegations.
